Inventory Management Supervisor
North Hills Club Tennis, Sensaria, Capital Electric
Morrisville, Durham, Apex, Raleigh NC
- I have worked in three different types of jobs; for example, the first would be court maintenance at the tennis club. There, I had to clean and repair them every time a group of people played on that court. Besides that, I had to communicate with the clients or residents of the club to guide them, or maintain good relationships.
- My second job was at Sensaria, a picture frame factory. I was in the inventory department. I was the one who received and stocked the wooden sticks that had to be used for the cutters. Besides that, I learned how to operate the forklifts, manage the inventory, and keep it organized when required, along with supervision.
- And my third, and last, job was at Capital Electric. At the beginning, I was working for a different department called DTS, "Deliver to Projects." My job there was to receive the products again, put them into the system with the help of a staff member, and then send them to the trucks or the store located in the warehouse. There, I learned how to deal with customers, since sometimes I had to be attentive to detail, look for more material, or they would come with complaints. After a few months, I was transferred to the cable department, where my position was to do deep inventory and keep the numbers in order, tracking which materials were lost and recovered. I also acted as a supervisor in the same area, since cable was also cut and sold in the store, dealing with customers, or in the trucks
