Yahaira Corza

My name is Yahaira Corza, and I am in my final semester at UNC Charlotte, pursuing a double major in Spanish (with a concentration in Literature and Culture) and Latin American Studies. I am also part of the Early Entry Program for my Master’s in Spanish. As a first-generation Latina and a non-native English speaker, I take great pride in my academic achievements, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and earning the distinction of Chancellor in Spring 2025.

Balancing full-time studies with personal and professional aspirations, I am passionate about cultural studies, education, and community engagement. I enjoy working with children and value time spent with my family. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, taking each step toward my goals with dedication and perseverance.
