  • Instructor Trainer Responsibilities
  • Train Instructor Candidates (IC) in course and participant requirements when teaching the Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, Wilderness First Aid (WFA), or Basic Life Support (BLS) courses. Upon successful completion of the instructor course, and having maintained a current certification, instructor access is granted and new instructors can begin teaching immediately after being entered into the Red Cross Learning Center.
  • Instructor Responsibilities
  • Train candidates in required skills for Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, BLS or WFA. Ensure participants can perform the skill to the standard and can pass written testing if required. Upon successful completion, candidates will be granted the certification they tested for. Consistent use of critical eye as participants are performing the required skills. Redirection/correction is given if needed. Appropriate videos and references are used during the course and student equipment provided is demonstrated.
