Ty McBride

I have worked in law enforcement for just at 5 years. During this time I have worked a very high crime area with extensive critical incidents including everything from basic property crimes to homicides. I work well under pressure and am able to make decisions quickly that provide the best outcome. I worked as an operator on a swat team for over a year where I learned good tactical and team building skills. During my time as an officer I have had the pleasure of being a field training officer for over 3 years. During this time I have trained over 10 new officers that have done well in their career. I have supervised scenes when supervisors were not available due to them dealing with other incidents. I am a general instructor and have instructed many classes including making the lesson plans and power points for them as well. I feel I have a good amount of experience managing and supervising individuals not just in a day to day setting but during critical incidents as well. I have been told I am fair, knowledgeable, professional, and great at what I do. I am very proactive and do my job to the best of my ability.
