Trevor Tate

I currently attend Cape Fear Academy as a sophomore student athlete. I have a cumulative 4.51 GPA and have played two years of varsity soccer and one year of varsity golf. I am a member of the National Honors Society and a Life Boy Scout, which will become Eagle Scout rank within the next few months. Throughout my schooling, I have learned how to stay focused and dedicated to all of my many tasks. Further, I tore my ACL last soccer season and have learned how to deal with diversity throughout the last 7 months of rehab.

After my last Varsity Soccer season at Cape Fear Academy, I received the coaches award. We reached two consecutive state championships as a team, unfortunately losing both. Throughout both seasons, I stayed dedicated to the team even through hard times and helped out new players deal with nerves. Even after tearing my ACL, I attended as many games and practices as possible, and showed my support for the team at all times.
