
I started my career as a probation parole officer in 2013. Shortly after being certified I started supervising a high risk caseload including sex offenders. During my time supervising registered sex offenders I worked closely with the local Sheriff's office and other agencies to ensure compliance and public safety. I utilized evidence base practices and effective case planing to assist offender successfully complete supervision.
In 2020 i became a member of the district 25 Apprehension Capture Enforcement Team (ACE ). As a member of the ACE team I was responsible for conducting extensive investigations and locating offenders who were avoiding supervision. I built a close professional relationships with local agencies and often collaborated efforts to apprehend offenders.
In 2022 I was promoted to chief probation parole officer . Since 2022 I have managed a unit of six officers including two regular case carrying officer and four officers who are members of the district 25 ACE team. During my time as a CPPO I have gained experience with team leadership, strategic planning, and operational management.
I am currently a members of multiple groups and committees which assist with the department with reaching its goals including: Joint operation committee, state wide ACE committee, Catawba County safe communities, critical incident commander for district 25, 10-42 memorial committee, and district 25 point of contact for viper radios.
In 2023 I was Nominated as Chief probation Parole Officer of the year.
