Detailed specimen processing, including blood centrifugation and storage, customer services, laboratory quality control, inventory maintenance, providing accurate specimen collection instructions to patients and related staff, inventory maintenance and various other detailed. Worked at Mercy Hospitals, in a speedily environment which prioritize plays a role by responding to: code blue, code three, trauma center, strokes center, shortness of breath, cardiac alert, ICU, PACU and codes responses to OB patient's unit. Experience blood draws for BBID, verification/confirmation draws, DUI, psych patients, Cultures, venous blood gas, new born screen, and misdemeanor patients. Utilize the scheduling, charting system, and procedures for obtaining patients lab results.
