My first role with the company was in the deli, decorating cakes. Over the years working with multiple deli managers, and learning the deli inside and out, I felt ready for a Deli manager role. I have a desire to move up with the company and learn as much as I can, so I sought out an Evening Manager role.
In this evening manager role, over the course of 2 years I learned a lot about store operations. I have had many opportunities to help other stores with deli work, opening and closing MOD work, and disaster relief efforts. I was offered a Regional Evening Manager position at the end of 2025, unfortunately the regions changed, so I was unable to have that experience. I still have a desire to learn and grow with the company.
I believe myself to be a good leader as I have had many opportunities to advance my skills in this area. This will be my 10th year with Food Lion and I look forward to many more.
