Responsible for maintaining accurate cycle counts using inventory software, ordering from warehouse/delivery services, ensuring adequate balance on hand of pharmacy supplies, and returning expired/damaged product to wholesaler

Responsible for customer service, including pickup/dropoff of prescriptions, billing insurance claims, handling insurance rejections, and answering incoming phone calls from patients and healthcare providers.

Also, responsible for accurately counting and labeling more than 6,000 prescriptions weekly in the highest volume retail pharmacy within the district, in accordance with DEA standards and HIPAA regulations.

Responsible for administering oral, subcutaneously injected, topical, and inhaled medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols, assisting with activities of daily life, and maintaining accurate medication records and documentation for compliance.
