• Led teams from initiation to steady state in less than 18 months, adding over 165 US and offshore team members. Established new enterprise governance gates in support of risk reduction, including the Application Management Review Committee.
• Provided support for key regulatory activities, such as the Technology Health Refresh, Asset and Configuration Management acceleration, the IT Asset Management Operational Data Store (0DS), and the build out of the Technology Data Services Hub.

• Led enterprise shared services for Business Intelligence, Big Data/Hadoop platforms, Metadata, and Data Sourcing.
• Business Intelligence: Provided enterprise platforms for reporting and analytics, including SAS, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Tableau, Microsoft BI. Grew Tableau from 2000 to 14,000 users in 14 months (645% increase); partnered with Wholesale to combine Tableau environments for improved efficiency; established first enterprise Microsoft Power BI platform and grew from initiation to 30,000 users in 6 months through key partnerships; provided platform for Federal Reserve Stress Test and Volcker regulatory reporting; developed self-service framework to enable more analytics closer to the business; deployed mobile BI capabilities to provision better data for field representatives; implemented new enterprise scale MicroStrategy platforms for 39,000 users and grew active consumers from 9,600 to 12,400 in 12 months (29% increase); implemented the enterprise SAS Grid and grew users from 750 to 1,200 in 12 months (60% increase); merged three large stand-alone SAS environments to the shared enterprise SAS Grid, lowering technology costs to the business; filled six permanent senior analytics roles with top industry talent without increasing budget; added business continuity and recovery capabilities for all business intelligence platforms. New hires and platform growth accomplished without increasing headcount.
• Big Data: Provided enterprise-scale platforms for Big Data analytics, including Hadoop and Teradata Aster. Managed portfolio of more than 15 projects spanning most business lines; built new organization of highly skilled industry experts from initiation to 20 team members; leveraged new team to achieve a 90% reduction in professional services expense year over year for Big Data projects. Delivered business case and obtained approval for $8.6M Hadoop infrastructure purchase.
• Metadata and Source Data Hub: Provided enterprise platforms for metadata management and operational source data delivery. Expanded data hub to increase speed to market for new projects and provide greater data consistency. Developed enterprise metadata repository and began decommissioning of legacy metadata system.

Led a large global staff performing analysis, design, development, data modeling, metadata, and production support. Leadership role during Wells Fargo/Wachovia merger, with primary responsibility for the Customer Selection Facility that drove all account conversion events. Leadership role on the Mortgage Data Program, a multi-year program to develop an integrated analytics platform. Managed numerous other application teams, including:

• Data Sourcing Hub. Developed new data hub for the Enterprise Information Warehouse; reduced redundant processes for cost saves.
• Credit Analysis Repository. Large Teradata system in support of credit risk analytics; included 40 commercial and consumer data sources; used in regulatory reporting and earnings release.
• Consumer Loan/Card Services. Teradata systems in support of personal credit and card analytics for line of business initiatives.
• Mortgage Integrated Data Environment. A strategic data initiative in Mortgage that provided a comprehensive Teradata environment for all analytics and reporting needs.
• Systemized Tracking of Collateral. Tracking system in support of Wealth Management that monitored brokerage positions used as collateral for bank loans.
• Anti-money Laundering Hub. Large Teradata system that monitored all accounts and transactions on a single platform for approximately 100MM transactions per day.
• Float Reporting. System that provided float data in support of Technology Operations decision-making; reengineered application to reduce processing time and improve service levels.
• Phone Bank Reporting. System that supported call center analytics; reengineered application to streamline processing and reduce daily processing cycles.

Led the Finance Data Warehouse and implemented account-level profitability and activity-based costing capabilities. Leadership role during First Union/Wachovia merger and leader of combined data warehouse and marketing databases post-merger. Established successful 24x7 offshore production services function that supported a dozen analytical applications, providing over $1M in annual cost savings. Led development for a large Basel reporting initiative. Managed numerous application teams for reporting and analytics, including:

• Corporate Data Warehouse. Large Informix system with data from 50 source systems; used in support of customer analysis, segmentation, targeted marketing.
• Data Sourcing Hub. Centralized extract hub containing over 2000 files from 100 source systems; achieved consolidation and decommission of redundant systems for cost saves.
• Consumer Credit Risk Data Mart. Consumer loan warehouse that provided support for credit risk analysis; reengineered application for greater automation and reliability.
• Commercial Credit Risk Data Mart. Wholesale data and Commercial loan data warehouse that provided integrated commercial loan, lease and credit information.
• Risk Information Management Environment. Teradata system used in support of the Risk Management organization for general analytical purposes and Basel compliance reporting.

• Led the Oracle Financials procurement and Accounts Payables data warehouse development, including requirements, design, development, and data conversion; retrained the division in Oracle technology.
• Delivered business case and achieved executive funding for the division's first distributed analytical systems project; led product analysis, executive presentations, vendor selection, development.
• Developed an executive information system for expense reduction initiatives using emerging data technologies; designed and gained executive approval for a new supplier data management solution.
• Transitioned departmental reporting applications to an enterprise-wide global platform; migrated adhoc reporting from mainframe to desktop for greater accessibility and functionality.
• Managed a project to provision selected technology applications for Lucent Technologies during the AT&T divestiture; developed a new database repository of leased equipment for the legal department.
