- Completed Basic Law Enforcement Officer Training with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) in December of 2020. During this intense 6-month period I was challenged physically and mentally. Gained exceptional experience in leadership, discipline, organization, problem solving, work ethic and teamwork.
- Upon graduating from the academy and being sworn in as a Police Officer, I began to apply what I learned to daily duties in the field such as, responding to calls for service, community patrol, citizen interactions, completing traffic stops and attending monthly court dates.
- As an Officer, I was asked to complete daily reports which required me to write proficiently, commutate effectively with citizens of the community to gather the necessary information. I was required to pay close attention to details as they were described and narrate such in a written form. Provided honest and an accurate account of the situation at hand.
- I consistently responded to intense and dangerous calls for service where I had to be quick and decisive in my decision making abilities. I had to be versatile and confident when identifying issues and recommending solutions to complicated situations.
