As an agronomist assistant I scout crops, soil sample, and do all sorts of computer work. I look for different diseases and or insects and give recommendations to growers (farmers) on what plants could use like fertilizer, insecticides, etc. I test soil to see what the soil fertility is and give recommendations on what can be used to improve the fertility. I drive trucks and haul work equipment like atv’s daily.
