My name is Sherlyn Osuna, I am a seventeen year-old girl who is currently a junior at Maiden High School, soon to graduate in May of 2026. I am a wonderful student who currently has a 3.7 GPA. I am in an internship where I'm currently leading a diner business at school, helping with organizing and delivering food to both students and teachers. I have served food over at the Catawba County School Warehouse- where Dr. Stover and the rest of the Catawba board of education work. I am currently seeking for a part-time job so I can grow in knowledge, experience new things in different workforces, and just learn in general. I enjoy the excitement of having a job where I can learn more about myself and how to please customers in the best way.

  • I would take their orders (food, drinks, etc.), make sure everything was to their liking, put it in the computer, and deliver it to the guests.
  • I trained a few new people who would come in and work for short periods of time.
  • I would often host, sometimes processed my tables' payments using a cash register. Most payments would be used with a credit/debit card
  • while serving my tables I would often clean up if they ever needed a dish to be taken away, cleaned any spills/messes, I would prepare the tables after they would leave for the next people waiting in line.
  • I was very polite and professional the whole way through, didn't matter if they were rude and or angry, nothing ever escalated. I would always find ways to make the costumer happy.
  • Collaborated with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders..
  • Maintained knowledge of current menu items, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods; had to learn the menu all the way through.

  • I have a wonderful affectionate cat whos been in my care for about 4 years now, she was injured and hurt just sitting on out front porch. i treated her and eventually took her in.
