My role at Skiptown was to manage and monitor groups of up to 15 dogs at a time. That included reading their body language, rearranging dogs to make a better fitting group, and breaking up fights as safely as possible. I also deep cleaned 45 kennels twice a day, and helped customers with booking services. I would also give dogs their correct medicine, and keep record of all of the times they were taken. I was trained in dog grooming briefly at this job.
My role at Fox Hollow Farm consisted of feeding all of the horses and animals each morning and night, administering medications to the animals, checking and refilling water troughs, and moving horses from the barn to their turnout pastures. I also was in charge of maintaining a clean, and fixing all of the fencing on the property. I learned how to drive with a manual transmission while I worked on this farm as well.
