Outside of my work experiences I took Agriculture classes throughout highschool completing both my horticulture and animal science pathways. I was also heavily involved with the North Carolina FFA Association local, regional, and state level. Throughout these courses and extracurricular activities I gained hands on experience handling/raising livestock (including poultry, cattle, rabbits, and goats), planting and managing small crop production, and gained an overall knolage on the agriculture industry, specifically in North Carolina.
During my time at Chick-fil-A, I Worked as part of the kitchen team to help prepare and assemble food items according to Chick-fil-A’s guidelines. Responsibilities included basic cooking, following food safety procedures, keeping the kitchen area clean and organized, and helping ensure meals were ready in a timely manner. The role required working closely with others in a fast-paced environment and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant from the kitchen.
