I have served as an Emergency Room Physician and a Trauma Bed Chief in the US Military Hospital for almost five years taking care of NATO and UN soldiers deployed to Balkan during a war. Our patients were coming from five continents and thirty nine countries where I took care of war trauma, mass casualties and numerous infectious diseases not frequently seen in western countries.
