I am a born and raised Ashe County native. I was raised on about 100 acre farm and have known hard work my whole life on the farm. I learned to operate many different types of heavy equipment, including tractors and skid, steers and many different types of logging equipment From there I worked at Appalachian utilities, where I also learned to run more types of heavy equipment, such as fiber optic plows. I traveled a lot for that job so I also have that under my belt as well from there, my career moved to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina at Meadows meals. There are many skills were learned, including all kinds of different welding in the shop and in the field my work ethic was also boosted there due to long drive in the mornings and long hours and often working overtime. My current employer is LNE lumber and the tasks that I faced daily here are more difficult than anywhere else that I have worked. I am required to keep general maintenance on most of the machinery, and there is lots of welding and operating heavy equipment. I feel as though I would be a strong member of your team who is willing to learn and put in the work and dedication, it would take to become a long-term member of your team.
