Demonstrated progressive career advancement from part-time Emergency Medical Technician to full-time Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic Trainee) while attending college full-time to obtain paramedic certification and Emergency Medical Science, AAS, with further advancement to Rapid Sequence Intubation Paramedic and Advanced Practice Paramedic providing advanced prehospital care, including high-acuity assessment, critical interventions, and expanded clinical decision-making. Served as a Field Training Officer, responsible for mentoring, evaluating, and developing new employees until the program’s discontinuation. Frequently assumes supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the shift captain and lieutenant, supporting field operations, coordinating resources, and providing leadership and clinical guidance to personnel as needed.

Progressed through increasing levels of responsibility from Junior Firefighter to Master Firefighter/AEMT, then to Lieutenant, and currently serve as Captain overseeing EMS and Logistics. Provides both fire suppression and advanced prehospital care, with a focus on integrating EMS operations within the department. As Captain, responsible for leadership and supervision of personnel, coordination of EMS delivery, management of equipment and apparatus, and oversight of logistics, including inventory, readiness, and resource allocation. Supports training and operational planning.

Serve as an Adjunct Fire/EMS Instructor with a primary focus on EMS education, responsible for delivering classroom, laboratory, and scenario-based instruction to students at various levels of certification. Provides mentorship and academic support to students, ensuring competency in both clinical knowledge and hands-on skills. Contributes to student evaluation, remediation, and preparation for certification testing, while promoting professionalism, critical thinking, and readiness for field operations.
