Deployed to Afghanistan from October 2011 to September 2012 on a combat rotation with a 4-person Special Operations Civil Affairs Team, provided civil reconnaissance and assessed civil infrastructure, while liaising with local Afghan government officials in remote regions of the country.

• Acted as the Operations NCOIC in the Office of Security Cooperation at the US Embassy Malawi from January 2024 to August 2025, coordinating military training in the United States and Europe for the Host Nation Military.
• Deployed to Stuttgart, Germany from April 2014 to September 2014 as a member of a Civil Military Operations Cell, handled reports and communications from the Civil Affairs Teams operating in multiple countries throughout Eastern Europe and briefed the Higher Command.
• Held various Senior Enlisted Staff positions at the Division, Brigade, Battalion, and Company echelons, performed planning tasks, managed Airborne Operations and records, and ran the barracks for a Brigade.
• Executed 67 duties as a Master Rated Jumpmaster and instructed twice as a Jumpmaster Instructor for the Special Operations Static Line Jumpmaster Course.
• Served over 16 years in the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne).

Served for 3 years as Crewmember on an M109 Paladin 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer for 1/7 Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division.

• Deployed to Iraq from September 2008 to August 2009 on a combat rotation to secure and provide mission support in the Green Zone of Baghdad, Iraq.
• Managed Iraqi interpreters assigned to the Battery during deployment, coordinating their housing, employment, and safety with Battery personnel.
• Executed operation of artillery systems during live-fire exercises and training missions, contributing to team readiness and mission success.

• Provided project planning and construction document production for multiple architectural projects focusing on Assisted Living facilities.
• Reviewed and corrected construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

• Acted as the primary residential designer for a small engineering firm, creating floor plan concepts, elevation designs, and producing documents for custom homes.
• Collaborated with the engineers and clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.

Served as a project designer and produced construction documents for a small residential architecture firm with two partners and four team members focusing on high-end historicist homes.

Produced construction documents, construction details, and models for commercial projects ranging from ski resorts, retail shops, and residential developments at a large, multi-office architecture firm providing services in the Vail, Beaver Creek, and Denver, Colorado communities.

• Worked as a carpenter and designer for a small design build firm in New Orleans, LA, performing all aspects of construction from foundation work through framing to finish carpentry while providing drafting services as needed.
