Work closely with my team to manage our site specific clinical trials. Manage subject visits, lab testing and results review, educating the subjects and family members on usage of investigational products (IP), scheduling test such as Eye Exams, MRI's and Liver Biopsies. Returning subject phone calls and following up with any study related issues or concerns.

• Primary Nurse Clinician for 2 Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist managing their weekly clinic, triaging patient calls and MyChart messages, refilling prescriptions, assisting with pacemaker/defibrillator interrogations, scheduling procedures and responding to provider emails

• Responsible for daily Triage calls, MyChart messages, prescription refills, handling walk in patient questions, and daily INR Warfarin dose adjustments

• Outpatient prior review

• Team leader for all aspects of patient care in both preop and pacu level I and II
• Managed staff schedules and time cards
• Assisted with staff meetings
• Provided educational in-service for staff, staff performance reviews, attended mandatory hospital based meetings and training
• Proficiency in IV starts, assisted Anesthesiologists with preop nerve blocks
• Assisted other departments with IV starts as needed (MD offices and MRI)
• Served all populations from 6 months and up for outpatient surgical needs

• Provided end of life care for terminal patients in the home setting
• Managed all aspects of their home care

• Outpatient care for chronic pain patients including pre and post procedure care, assisting with procedures, patient triage, and prescription refills

• PACU level I care for patients from birth to geriatric ages for in-patient and out-patient surgeries
• During this time period I also worked about 9 months in PACU level I at Duke Raleigh
• I returned to Rex and worked 1 1/2 years in Endoscopy before returning to PACU level I

• Float pool RN working between in-patient floors

• RN observation unit caring for ER overflow patients waiting for hospital beds, dialysis patients and pretransplant patients

• Mother-Baby RN caring for antepartum and postpartum patients and newborns
