Developed most of my skills servicing the community at Best Buy. Learned and strengthened my customer service, problem solving and time management skills there. Continue to improve these skills within Geek Squad as I apply them towards a technological perspective troubleshooting and resolving issues with depth. I am ready to use and apply the experience I have towards new avenues in my career. Especially relating to the technology field.
Assist client's that come into the Geek Squad precinct with a variety of issues dealing with all types of technology especially computers. Including gaming desktops, all-in-ones, laptops, and office desktops. I did a lot of troubleshooting user side errors. As well as information gathering to check in devices with more involved issues so my technicians could take a deeper look. Then after locating their issue and thinking of a solution getting them connected with the correct resolution most times involving purchasing our Total Membership.
Assisted Mooresville citizens with product knowledge on the Best Buy sales floor. Most interactions involved instructing customers on how various products or services worked. Including PC's, Mobile devices, smart home devices, appliances, and home theater products. This customer service position also involved gathering as much information about the customer and their situation so I could get them to the perfect solution for them including our memberships and Best Buy credit card.
Assist a UPS driver during the holiday rush with delivering packages to the Appstate campus. He would drive us to the locations and I would go in and locate the recipient in education buildings as will as houses in and around campus.
Assisted painting team with prep work for painting a JCPenney store during the night shift. Masked off lights and sprinklers. Also labled racks so they could be correctly replaced at the end of the night. Also helped with cleanup before the store opened
