I have two years of experience leading and supporting children at Camp Seagull and Camp Seafarer, where I developed reliability, teamwork, and strong organizational skills while keeping safety and positive experiences a top priority. I also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, assisting families and ensuring a welcoming, supportive environment. Providing excellent customer service is very important to me, and these experiences have strengthened my adaptability, problem-solving, and communication skills, all of which I am eager to bring to a part-time Cashier/Stocker role at ALDI.
As a Youth Program Counselor at Camp Seagull and Camp Seafarer, I worked during full summer sessions and extended seasons, supporting children’s growth while ensuring their safety and well-being. I led daily activities, kept schedules on track, and adapted quickly to changing needs. The role required strong communication with campers, parents, and staff, as well as teamwork and organization to keep facilities clean and programs running smoothly. I often managed multiple responsibilities at once, stayed dependable under pressure, and learned the importance of providing a positive experience for everyone, skills I carry into any workplace.
While volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, I supported families going through medical challenges by keeping the space comfortable and welcoming. I assisted with daily household routines, organized supplies, and helped prepare shared areas for guests. I also contributed by serving meals and offering a friendly presence to families during their stay. The experience strengthened my sense of responsibility, adaptability, and care for others, while teaching me how important small details are in keeping things running smoothly.
