Summary

After stepping away from the classroom to have my first baby, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. At first, I thought it was simply the desire to work again, so I joined our family business. I was incredibly grateful for the flexibility it gave me to be present with my children- but still, that emptiness lingered. I prayed constantly, asking Jesus to show me what was missing from my heart.

One day, while watching my oldest daughter sing "Super Wonderful God" with her preschool class at Calvary, I was overwhelmed with emotion. In that moment, it became clear- what my heart truly missed was being in the classroom. Now that all three of my children are at Calvary, I feel God calling me back- this time, to teach in a faith based environment where I can not only help students learn but also instill the same Christian values I instill in my own home.
