- Collaborated with Analytics and inventory replenishment teams to create (Power BI) reporting tailored to IRP creating real time shipment flow visibility, significantly reducing PO tracking escalations and eliminating gaps in visibility of consolidation shipments especially for Tier 1 events.
- Measure vendor compliance by developing SOPs and processes. Developed a process to recoup extra incurred freight cost to Lowe’s resulting from vendor non-compliance with defined procedures. Since the inception of this process in September 2024, vendors have been charged $800,000.
- Execute monthly forecasts of inbound volume for each DCC, adjusting for any service area changes and volume shifts to help DCCs plan capacity for pick up and dock space.
- RDC localization project analyzing vendors near each RDC and excluding them from flowing through consolidation. This initiative yields $1.4M in freight cost savings(annually), eliminates 8M miles of transportation and reduces transit times by an average of 4 days.
- Inbound transit time evaluation project for TX and CA DCCs, full review and level set of lanes. Created transit time maps as visual aid to DCCs and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement with carriers on meeting KPI expectations, improving EDI and visibility to freight movement.
- Working on initiative with Unyson(carrier) to validate loads routed LTL in Lowe’s TMS but routed as truckload size by vendors in Unyson’s scheduling portal. Validating before changing mode to truckload has saved $260,000 in transport cost since inception of this process in April 2025.
