I’m writing to express my interest in the Graphic Designer position. I currently have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design and Media Art from Southern New Hampshire University two Associate degrees in Associates of Fine Arts and Associates in arts from Pitt Community College. I’m excited to bring my passion for design and my dedication to executing visually compelling marketing materials to your team. During my time as a working Visual Artist and Graphic Designer, I gained practical experience in both digital and print design, producing over 20 design pieces including brochures, flyers, social media content, and email newsletters. I was responsible for ensuring that each piece adhered to strict brand guidelines provided by my instructors assignments while still pushing creative boundaries to increase audience engagement with each assignment during my time as SNHU. I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and I have developed a strong understanding of design principles like color and composition theory. My ability to collaborate with and meet deadlines set forth by by assignments, and translate creative direction into effective visual assets makes me confident that I can add value to Empire Abrasives marketing efforts.
