Primary roles are to initiate both family and investigative assessments after hours as well as maintain rotational coverage of the CPS intake line. This includes but is not limited to conducting safety assessments, utilizing and creating plans with Temporary Safety Providers to include back ground screening and juvenile petition filing where applicable. Completion of both after hours requests for day staff and assists for other counties received after 3pm. Many assessment cases received are highly sensitive in nature as they often include elements of sex abuse and severe injury which require immediate response and an intense level of interviewing and safety planning.

  • In addition, following any safety or maltreatment decisions, a full Initial assessment document is generated within Ewisacwis (state computer program) which details the family and their functioning outside of the incident
