Summary

Technician with over ten years of expertise in reconnaissance operations and intelligence collection utilizing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and various platforms. Provides strategic guidance on UAS employment to command levels, enhancing mission effectiveness. Experienced in leading training programs that develop talent and maintain operational readiness. Proficient in planning and executing complex UAS missions while managing safety, maintenance, and logistics to optimize performance.

Work History

Leadership

  • Established, develop and maintain relationships with higher, lateral and Federal organizations: FAA, DON, DAF, ARSOF. To enhance internal capabilities and seamlessly work with organizations that did not fall within the unit’s hierarchy.
  • Oversaw the talent acquisition and management of teams ranging in size from 31 to 180 personnel.
  • Directly managed four to seven supervisors within those teams. Later focus on mentorship of primary supervisors of smaller teams within larger organizations.
  • Developed streamlined procedures and systems to reduce unproductive time spent on requirements that could be transferred to other priorities.

Research and Analysis

  • Conducted research and multi fiscal year planning to forecast training and logistical requirements. To meet positive mission end states at locations globally.
  • Executed Intelligence analysis on locations, individuals and organizations. To enhance higher level intelligence products by answering unknown details: personnel of interest connections, movements of personnel and supplies, trends of key events, and equipment. With the preferred conclusion to frustrate logistical processes, disrupt activities and remove key personnel from the environment.

Training

  • Provided training program oversite to ensure junior team members proficiently develop to promote into positions of greater responsibility. By assigning career development projects to subordinate leaders to develop them professionally, while simultaneously meeting project/planning deadlines.
  • Provided personnel without Aviation experience, with the ability to plan, and execute missions with Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS), while simultaneously maintaining the safety of manned aircraft. Through an instruction program tailored to the target audience.

Operations

  • Regularly assessed equipment and materials for relevance. Used established logistic processes to evacuate antiquated items and replace them with current items.
  • Delivered long-term capabilities, by providing weekly equipment readiness rates, equipment shortage reports and weekly information flow with industry partners.
  • Organized with higher level intelligence collectors to identify and prioritize collection priorities. Then collaborated with airspace planners (U.S. Forces and Foreign Nations) to integrate UAS platforms with rotary and fixed wing aviation assets. This directly adhered to the needs of senior level decision makers, by concurrently driving intelligence collection, and operations. This provided real time translation of information into the current operational picture enabling faster decisions.

Safety

  • Maintained safety records and training for organizations to comply with DoD and OSHA policies.
  • Advised senior level decision makers on event associated risk and accident trends to mitigate potential accidents. Recurringly had zero loss of work accidents and equipment losses.
  • Orchestrated annual safety training: CPR, first aid, etc. to ensure readiness of all team members in the event of an accident.
