RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACT MODELING:
1. Key Contributions

• Conducted comprehensive climate data preprocessing, including gap-filling, interpolation, and bias correction, to prepare datasets for agricultural impact modeling in the Pacific region
• Applied bias correction methodologies to climate model outputs to improve accuracy of projections for regional crop yield simulations
• Performed multi-stage climate data quality control and preprocessing pipeline: gap-filling missing observations, spatial/temporal interpolation, and statistical bias correction of climate model outputs
• Integrated bias-corrected climate projections with crop simulation models to quantify climate change impacts on tuber yields in Pacific agricultural systems
• Applied advanced statistical methods for climate data harmonization to ensure robust inputs for regional-scale crop modeling

2. Research Focus

Agroecosystem modeling with emphasis on climate change impacts on tropical root crop systems. Specialized in APSIM model development for Pacific Island agriculture, integrating biophysical modeling, climate scenario analysis, and adaptation strategy evaluation to enhance food security under changing environmental conditions.
