Private Caregiver in my home for my Veteran father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2020. Daily functions included toileting, grooming, feeding, providing incontinent care, medication management, bathing, and providing Dad with 100% total care for his daily needs. Sadly, my dad passed away from this cruel disease March 2025. I had taken some to grieve before returning to work. In the meantime while providing for Dad, my Nursing Assistant license expired 03/31/2022.

Performed 100% of resident care functions in a 100 bed skilled facility.

Third shift Nursing Assistant with ratio 1:25+, fast paced setting with lots of attention to detail and able to provide excellent patient care with pride and dignity.

Duties included monitoring and recording vital signs, Range of Motion, proper body alignment, grooming, bathing, hygiene, the use of total care lifts, providing incontinent care, catheter care, measuring intake and output, as well as charting via Epic computer systems.

Responsible for reporting any skin changes or other patient issues with Nurse on shift.

Excellent communication with Doctors and Nurses.

Assisted in the orientation and training of any new hires (CNA's) on night shift.
