Summary

I’ve been a member of Local 831 for 20 plus years. I started out with Nth degree and eventually worked my way up to a labor foreman with Freeman San Diego. In that time I was able to experience the evolution of the tradeshow world and watched this go from a part time job to a full time job with the expansion of convention centers throughout Southern California gaining valuable experience along my rise to becoming a foreman. During this time I have always been an advocate for Local 831 bringing in several new members. While working as the Labor foreman for Freeman from 2015-2020 I often had to intervene with disputes between workers, other companies and exhibitors while maintaining the integrity of our union. I’m used to traveling, working weekends, and non conventional hours. Given my experience I feel I would be a good fit as a field representative and an asset to Local 831.
