  • Serves as a Human Resources Specialist on the Transitions team processing separations orders, DD Form 214, and assortment of administrative duties for military personnel on Fort Liberty that are separating from the US Army
  • Receives and reviews personnel records (Absence Requests, STPs, enlistment contracts, Oath of Offices,Active Duty orders, DD93s, and SGLIs) for DD 214 and separation orders processing
  • Creates separation files and packets for each Soldier
  • Prepares and process voluntary and involuntary (Chapters, RCP, QMP, and Medical Board) retirements 2339, 7301 and contractual ETS separation orders and DD 214s, and Physical Disability Board Review changes.
  • Proficient in the use of TRANSPROC (Installation Support Module; ISM), IPERMS, IPPS-A
  • Conducts final DD 214 reviews and clearing appointments for all out-processing Soldiers
  • Handles proxy clearing for DD 214s to be processed after Soldier's separation date
  • Determines appropriate separation codes and updates

  • Proficient in typing at least 40 words per minute (WPM) as measured by a 5-minute sample with no more than three errors
  • Exercises excellent judgment and skill and has thorough knowledge of Army Regulations, rules and policies
  • Familiar with individual retirement packages, acquires information and resolves discrepancies to ensure applicant is processed correctly and receives counseling on all eligible benefits and entitlements
  • Processes service time computations to ensure accuracy for all credible inactive and active time periods
