As the Area Director for Marketing/ Public Relations of several Zaxby’s stores (Knightdale,
Nashville, Rocky Mount, North Raleigh, Wake Forest), consistently used my unique skills in building
and bridging brands between (B2B’s & B2C’s) businesses, organizations, and communities via
cobranding and networking to build the network. During my first year at Zaxby’s, in a leadership role,
I was instrumental in the Knightdale store being ranked #10, Rock Mount ranked #26 and Nashville
ranked #247 (being opened in less than a year) of 900 stores. Have established partnerships for
Zaxby’s by cobranding and collaborating with small and large businesses, organizations, churches
and schools in Wake, Nash, and Edgecombe counties. Always networking to build the net worth.
Which went from a million-dollar store to a 4-million-dollar store in 3years. By placing Zaxby’s in
places that were unique and liking the un-liked minded in businesses opportunities. Responsibilities
also included such as maintain social media, catering, events, vendor, job fairs and more.
During 2017, as the liaison for Zaxby’s, supported (and continue to support) the Food Bank of NC.
Created an Outreach “Stop Hunger One Community At A Time” to show we were more than a Fast-
Casual Dining Restaurant During that time had distributions of food to 35 community partners,
donated over 250,000 lbs. of food and served over 13,000 families served. During 2018 46
community partners to server over 18,000 families with over 246,00 lbs. of food. Converting some
into a Food Bank Agency.

Provided a service of drug testing to companies from the Eastern Coast to Michigan and as far West as Missouri who wanted to send a powerful message to all employees about behavior that is and is not supported at work; thus a “Drug Free Workplace”. Due to inefficiency to achieve maximum use of time or resources and merging two companies, I created a SOP for misdirected samples department. The management of samples that went to the wrong labs and redirecting them properly produced optimum results, a more efficient process and savings. Which lead me to going into Inside Sales Rep. where I sold the service of a Drug Free Workplace and services into becoming TOP In-side Sales Rep for 3 year. Along with setting up Drug Testing Sites with upsells and other services. Created Innovated ways to promote a drug free workplace which took sales up 45% in a quarter.

  • 2007-2008, For the last two years I have been the facilitator in planning and executing the annual Edgewater Community Day activities. This function is for a community has over 500+ homes/families. In planning a successful event; I solicited sponsors, such as the City of Raleigh, Wake County, Fortune 500 hundred companies for monetary and in-kinds goods. Negotiate contracts for vendors.   • 2006-2007, As an active member of the Elevation Baptist Church family, I orchestrated a fund raiser where we successfully raised over $10K for the church. With clear focus on what was needed, I was also able organize various ministries, where each ministry now were when out ministering for the church and wear at functions; there are over 25 ministries. All the business was given to a minority vendor. Served on the Committee that seek donations from fortune 500 companies that supports the growth of a Church and programs
  • June 2006, Received the Wake County Volunteer of the Year Award for all the work done with the PTSA. I facilitated and planned football events, school social events, community events, acquiring and soliciting local businesses for monetary and in-kind donations.
  • 2005-2006, Served on Carnage PTSA Executive Board Liaison for MSEN and was also the Donation Chairperson. During my tenure I was able to solicit over $15K in donations in monetary/in-kind goods. Taking those donations and helping with assisting with student of the month, teacher Luncheons and much more.
  • 2004-2006, Helped organize the parent booklet for the MSEN at Carnage that is sponsored by NCSU; this is a tool they continue to use.
