- I support the arts by attending the ballet, plays, and concerts
- I support NCMA through membership at the Fellow level
- I volunteered extensively at Montessori School of Raleigh when my children were students I read with young elementary aged children every week for six years I was "room mother" for 8 years
- I am passionate about Art and attend exhibitions when I travel I love to travel to see specific art exhibitions or shows (for example Art Basel Paris and the Venice Biennale)
- I am passionate about education, in particular, literacy and exposing children to the arts
- I enjoy reading literature in my free time
- I sew clothes for a hobby
- I enjoy cooking and baking I have entered the NC State Fair baking competitions many times and won many ribbons over the years
I speak French and love to travel to France whenever I can
