The Accelerated Development Program is a 2.5 year rotational program, involving 3 different IT related positions in different business units or functions within Trane Technologies.
Third Rotation - Corporate - Digital Risk Project Manager - Jan 23 - Current
- Project manager for 7 cyber security related projects or initiatives within our Identity Security team, Data Protection team, and Architecture team
- Provide constant project status updates to either stakeholders, internal IT executives/leaders, or business leaders
- Introduced and trained my team on using Jira to track and work through all of our different projects
- Have learned and experienced the 'how' in Change Management that involves a change to all/most users in the company
Second Rotation - Corporate - Scrum Master/Business Analyst - July 22 - Jan 23
- Learned key Agile best practices and completed foundational Agile and Scrum trainings
- Acted as a scrum master for an application project, leading daily stand ups, sprint plannings, reviews, and retrospective
- Gained foundational knowledge of Jira to schedule sprints, build reports, and facilitate discussions
First Rotation - CHVAC - Project Manager / Program Management - July 21 - July 22
- Successfully met project deadlines and requirements for 3 infrastructure related projects (Site Move, Site Renovation, and Site Closure)
- Gained key insights into managing costs for a given project (ROMs, etc.)
- Held bi-weekly MDI sessions with all other Project Managers within our Business unit to ensure project quality, completion, and standard work is followed
- Used Tableau to build reports for our teams MOR based on project data, budget data, incident SLAs, and more
- Acted as an IT Gatekeeper for all of CHVAC's procurement related requests, such as software renewals, SOWs, and new software purchases
