At Amec I started out in the tool room issuing out tools and material. I was also responsible for inspection of tools and equipment that was kept and returned to the tool room for safe usage. Then I was promoted to Office Manager by the Site Superintendent. In this role I kept all employees time to ensure their pay checks was correct and had to report late arrival, early out and missed days to the main office. I also was tasked with data entry for ongoing work in the field, along with building packages and helping various craft supervision.
At Hudson Painting I mainly recorded everyone's time for the week and did payroll. Also keeping records for all finances for the fiscal year for the business. Along with keep accounts paid and managing any extra added costs. Lastly I helped with ordering materials and supplies for the delivery to the jobsites.
As Assistant Manager, I helped with sales to the customers, mentoring new employees on the roll of sales person and cashier. I was also tasked with opening and closing the store whenever it was my turn on the schedule to do so.
