KIMBERLY STORK

Raleigh

Summary

My greatest passion is leading women and men into a relationship with Jesus Christ and then walking with them in discipleship as they become mature believers equipped for every good work in Christ. I have led evangelism- and new-believer-oriented Bible studies for the past ten years, which began in a corporate setting but which God grew to the point that they could be rolled into our church’s Women’s Discipleship Program. I am further involved in The Summit Church’s Women’s Discipleship Program and serve in the kids’ ministry and as a baptism/evangelism counselor. My most recent time in Calvary Chapel University's M.A.B.S. program has enriched my understanding of Scripture, enhanced my exegetical skills, and further ignited an ardency in these areas.

Published Author

Christian Faith Publishing and Amazon
- Current
  • Author of Chasing Beautiful: A Bible study on Faith, Fitness, and Physical Appearance, published through Christian Faith Publishing and Amazon; a 6-week Bible study that explores how and when the reader’s concept of beauty developed and is interwoven in the fabric of their life, what God says about beauty in the Bible, what is our full identity in Christ, how Satan attacks us in this area, what it means to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, and what to do when we struggle.
  • Author of the six-week Bible study, The Middle: Searching the Bible for How My Story Fits Within God’s Story, which examines the one or two times during every believer’s journey when God throws us into a pressure cooker season(s) of life—when the walls are pressing in, the fire is nipping at our heels, and the suffering, the waiting, and the silence leave us wondering if God forgot about us—by diving into the four Gospel letters and book of Acts to learn about the character and ways of our steadfast, unchanging God who tends to refine all His followers by the fiery middle portion of our stories.
