I have been in the electronic payments industry for 20 years, successfully implementing and supporting electronic payment solutions for hundreds of billers (domestic and international) and their customers.
Working with billers in the utility, mortgage, insurance and loan industries - along with cities, municipalities, associations and private industries - has afforded me the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of best practices and standards within multiple verticals.
My implementation experience has included a number of responsibilities... from defining technical and business requirements to working with development, BA, IT, and QA teams to implement those customized solutions and meet specific needs. Additionally, I have been responsible for reporting, demonstrating, testing, planning and troubleshooting in various capacities.
I am well-versed in ACH, credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo and other payment methods used to make one-time or recurring payments. Whether customers are using a web site, mobile app, IVR, text message, or interactive bill (PDF) to make their payment, I understand the transmission methods (file/API) of data (customer data/payment data), as well as how that information is used to set business rules, accept payments and reconcile funding.
On a personal note, I take a hands-on approach... from demos to training to testing to reconciliation and reporting. Sharing knowledge is a passion and I enjoy working with teams to accomplish tasks and meet goals!
