My name is Kayla Eddy. Tile holds a special place in my heart, as I have grown up in the field my entire life. My father learned the trade in Florida 30 years ago, and when we moved to North Carolina, he started his own business. I did not realize then that it would hold such an impact on my life and who I am. I began going to work with him at a young age, learning all about the tools, products, and even the design aspects. I was always very passionate about it, even as a child. Now, I have worked full time for my father's business for years, helping on job sites with installations, as well as assisting in the design process with each client. I have always admired that each customer is different, and I take pleasure in adapting to their style, putting together the perfect space for them. Ensuring all of the details are covered, from tile selections, to grout, trim, & layout. I have worked most closely with Laticrete, Mapei, and Schluter; a bit with Custom setting materials. We have used many different installation styles over the years, from your typical rubber shower pan & concrete board, to liquid waterproofing, to then switching completely to foam. Through these hands-on experiences, I was able to gain a substantial understanding of what each product is and why it is used. Aside from tile & design, I am also technologically competent. I am certified in Microsoft and have also worked in different business softwares. I have worked in Bistrack and Quickbooks.
