Research Technician

  • Worked with a diverse team of professors and built interactive, ADI curricula for introductory geology classes (lecture).
  • Worked alongside faculty and undergraduate students (MARC, LSAMP) & helped organize student workshops, events, attendance sheets and post-grant student data.
  • Assisted with student data classification and organization for usage in UCINET and other comprehensive data analysis software (R, JMP).
  • Worked in small teams and collected field data (primarily hydrogeologic) from remote locations throughout eastern NC (CoPE).
  • Analyzed and identified CoPE-related hydrogeologic (contaminant & water quality) trends in collected field data using Minitab, MATLAB & R. Presented findings to small groups.
