  • Arrived at my classroom around thirty minutes early to set up the smartboard, make copies, and go over the lesson plans.
  • Once the first bell rang I greeted the students at the door and directed them to complete their morning work and use the restroom.
  • After the last bell rang and the morning announcements were over, I had them gather their things and switch for the first block.
  • Monitored and supported students during online reading program in 'Owl Time,' ensuring engagement and comprehension.
  • Passed out a Social Studies Newspaper for them to read history articles and answer questions based on the material.
  • Gathered the students to sit on the floor or at their desk to read new stories, teach new material, take notes, write Cornell Notes, and watch instructional videos.
