• Arrived at my classroom around thirty minutes early to set up the smartboard, make copies, and go over the lesson plans.
• Once the first bell rang I greeted the students at the door and directed them to complete their morning work and use the restroom.
• After the last bell rang and the morning announcements were over, I had them gather their things and switch for the first block.
• Monitored and supported students during online reading program in 'Owl Time,' ensuring engagement and comprehension.
• Passed out a Social Studies Newspaper for them to read history articles and answer questions based on the material.
• Gathered the students to sit on the floor or at their desk to read new stories, teach new material, take notes, write Cornell Notes, and watch instructional videos.
• Went over instructions for the independent or group work that tied into what they just learned in the lesson.
• Had them gather their things and switch for the second block, let the second block come in and get settled in the classroom, then repeated both “Owl Time” and the Social Studies Newspaper.
• Made sure the students had their lunchboxes, walked them to the cafeteria, and were served by the lunch ladies or myself.
• Dropped them off at their enhancements, went to PLC meetings, helped plan the upcoming lesson plans, and returned to pick them up when it was time.
• Returning from enhancements I had my second block repeat the same lesson and work that was done in my first block that day.
• Instructed the students to pack up their backpacks, switch back to homeroom, and clean up the classroom to get ready for recess.
• Supervised recess, facilitating positive interactions among students and resolving conflicts to maintain a safe play environment.
• Directed students to carpool and escorted them to bus area, ensuring safe boarding and accurate bus assignments.
• Decorated the bulletin board, graded papers, sorted and filed papers into folders, and updated AR charts after school.

• Followed recipes to accurately measure and incorporate ingredients, ensuring consistent quality of each baked item.
• Cakes: shaped and crumb coated frozen cakes, iced and scraped sides of the cake until fully smooth, and then added the border and designs/details.
• Royal Icing Cookies: made thin flood consistency and thick detail consistency icing, flooded backgrounds of cookies to let dry overnight, and then added the designs/details the next day.
• Decorative Cookie Dough: rolled/cut out the decorative cookie dough into the shapes needed.
• Cake/Cupcake Batter: filled the cake and cupcake pans needed with batter, and timed/checked on them baking in the oven until they were fully cooked.
• Practiced new techniques based on customer orders by researching and applying skills from videos and articles.
• Labeled and dated all food and icing for efficient use by other bakers and compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintained a clean workspace by disposing of trash, loading dirty dishes into the dishwasher, and sanitizing the station daily.

• Scheduled substitute positions at various schools within Johnston County and taught students from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade, including enhancement classes.
• Arrived at the school around thirty minutes early to get into the building, find my classroom, and look over the lesson plans for the day.
• If there were no lesson plans, I reached out to the other teachers in the grade level for assistance on what they were currently learning and made lesson plans based on that subject.

• Planned and executed lots of crafts for every holiday or season, like painted handprint and footprint pictures.
• Cleaned highchairs and toys thoroughly to maintain hygiene standards, vacuumed the rugs and carpet, and sanitized the swings and cribs.
• Contacted parents throughout the day to report updates/injuries/emergencies, and talked with parents about how their baby's day went at pickup.

• Cake Pops: scooped and rolled out cake pop dough, inserted the sticks and put them in the freezer, and dipped the cake pops into chocolate then covered in sprinkles.
• Drop Cookie/Decorative Cookie Dough: scooped the drop cookie dough into balls, and rolled/cut out the decorative cookie dough into the shapes needed.
• Cake/Cupcake Batter: filled the cake and cupcake pans needed with batter, and timed/checked on them baking in the oven until they were fully cooked.
• Engaged with customers in-store and over the phone to assist with retail purchases and custom orders, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Kept the storefront clean, assembled different sized boxes, and used the square system for customers to pay with both card and cash payments.

Being a Floater:

• Went from classroom to classroom ranging from the Infant Room all the way up to the Four Year Old Room to help any teacher who needed assistance.
• Washed and folded the laundry, assembled cots and blankets depending on where the kids were assigned to sleep, hand washed high chair trays, and cleaned the bathrooms/hallways/eating area.

Being a Teacher in the Three Year Old's Room:

• Changed diapers of kids who were not potty trained, or implemented a potty trained schedule that the parents of the child provided depending on what they do at home.
• Made sure that the kids were eating only their own food and eating safely during their two snacks and lunchtime.
• Put them to sleep for a nap according to a sleep schedule by patting their backs or sitting by their cot if they were having a hard time falling asleep.
• Watched and played with them outside on the playground and in the playroom with the variety of toys available.
• Designed and implemented seasonal crafts and activities, such as painted handprint and footprint pictures, to enhance children's creativity and engagement.
• Cleaned and maintained classroom environment by wiping down tables and toys, vacuuming rugs, and sweeping/mopping floors to ensure a safe and hygienic space for children.
• Contacted parents throughout the day to report updates/injuries/emergencies, and talked with parents about how their kids' day went at pick up.

Being a Teacher in the Infant Room:

Both After School Camp/Summer Camp:

• Interacted with kids that range from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade, ages five to fourteen years old.
• Set up bouncers, video game center, playground equipment, and craft center to create engaging activities for kids.
• Monitored and engaged with the kids in my center, ensured they interacted positively, and maintained a safe environment.
• Fed them an afternoon snack, kept inventory of what snacks we had or needed, and made pitchers of lemonade.
• Used walkie talkies to communicate with other Team Members, let the kids know when it was time for them to go home, and signed them out once they left with their parents.
• Deep cleaned bouncers/bathrooms/buses, swept and mopped the tile areas, and vacuumed carpet areas.

After School Camp:

• Picked up students from three different schools, checked their names off as they got on the bus to get a headcount, and made sure they behaved on the bus ride back.
• Unloaded the kids and their backpacks off of the bus, made sure they put their belongings in their cubbies, and had them wash their hands to get ready for snack time.

Summer Camp:

• Started welcoming the kids in at 6:30 AM with a movie, and served them breakfast.
• Set up different centers with summer related games and activities (assisted the kids playing on the water slides, dunk tank, rock climbing wall, mechanical bull riding, etc.)
• Took their lunch order if they didn't bring their own, passed out their lunch and drink, and served them condiments if they wanted any.
• Maintained headcount and ensured safety of assigned group during field trips while actively participating in activities.
