Kasey Pleitez Rivera

I am bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently, allowing me to communicate effectively with diverse patients and families.

I have a strong background in healthcare and caregiving, including completion of a Nursing Aide course and hands-on experience as a Veterinary Assistant, where I assisted with patient care, diagnostics, medication administration, and client communication in a fast-paced clinical setting.

I am currently working toward Medical Assistant certification to gain additional hands-on clinical experience and further strengthen my skills. I plan to transition into an imaging center as I continue pursuing my passion for sonography.

In addition to my healthcare experience, I have volunteered working with children and have extensive caregiving experience through helping care for my three younger siblings. These experiences have strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to support individuals of different ages and needs.

I also bring strong customer service skills developed through roles that required professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.

I am currently completing prerequisite coursework to transfer into a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. I am especially passionate about women’s health and aspire to become an OB/GYN sonographer, with a long-term goal of specializing in pediatric sonography.
