I have twelve years of environmental compliance and consulting experience. Some of my current responsibilities include: serving as the liaison between numerous regulatory agencies and Enbridge Gas North Carolina (EGNC); conducting regular storm water inspections, as well as making recommendations for BMP installation and maintenance; reviewing and enforcing designed erosion and sediment control project drawings for NCDEQ permitted projects; managing compliance on projects with USACE, USFWS, NCDEQ, NCDOT, and local county/town permits; collecting samples of various waste materials to establish characterization for storage and disposal requirements; overseeing waste handling, proper labeling, and transportation of various hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams; administering trainings for EGNC staff and contractors on environmental expectations and requirements; organizing permit transition and pre-construction meetings with construction and contractor teams; completing environmental self-assessments (i.e., audits) for facilities and construction projects; regularly using company environmental compliance tracking systems to meet regulatory deadlines.
