John Ross Amigh

Currently a Junior at NC State pursuing a degree in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Professional writing. I have a passion for different styles of writing, as well as news communication.

I am an active member of the student-run newspaper, Technician at NC State. This work with the student newspaper has increased my interest and skills in news writing and publishing as well as teaching me how to communicate from an unbiased source.

I believe the variety of job experiences I have had have given me many different skills and perspectives to include in my own professional work when communicating with others from varying backgrounds.

NC FFA- East Central Regional Officer/ Clayton High School President. May 2022- May 2023. These positions were incredibly fulfilling to me as they taught me to represent my peers, while being in two different positions at a time in one organization. I learned leadership skills and planned events such as competitions on a state-wide scale and events at varying scales.
