During my time working with Bald Creek Relief, I have had the chance to engage deeply with local communities to assess their needs and develop effective relief programs. I coordinated various relief efforts, managed volunteers, and collaborated with local partners to ensure that our services were delivered efficiently and effectively.

I also conducted outreach to raise awareness about the resources available to those in need, which involved organizing community events to foster engagement and support. This experience allowed me to strengthen my communication skills and work in diverse environments while reinforcing my commitment to empowering communities through sustainable solutions. Overall, it has been a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact and help those facing challenges.

• Hand-dusted and wiped down office furniture, fixtures, and window sills to keep areas clean and comfortable.
• Slid beds, sofas, and other furniture aside to wipe down baseboards and remove dust and dirt from hard-to-reach areas.
• Disinfected and mopped bathrooms to keep facilities sanitary and clean.
• Sorted, laundered and put away various laundry items.

During my internship as a band teacher, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the world of music education. I assisted the lead band teacher in planning and conducting rehearsals, which allowed me to develop my skills in lesson planning and classroom management. I was responsible for helping students prepare for performances and providing one-on-one support during practice sessions, which really helped me connect with them and understand their individual needs.

I also took on tasks like maintaining instruments and organizing sheet music, which taught me the importance of organization in a music program. Participating in concert planning and community outreach initiatives was another highlight of my internship, as it gave me a chance to see how music can bring people together. Overall, this experience reinforced my passion for teaching music and inspired me to continue pursuing a career in music education.
