• When I entered my first year of college, I was granted the Academic Merit Scholarship. It was a total of thirty-five thousand dollars along with a pell grant and a grant from a local church in the area.
• In 2019 I had the opportunity to join my church on a mission trip. We were teaming up with Samaritan’s Purse Ministries to help rebuild after Hurricane Harvey. We rebuilt houses for those who were displaced after the hurricane. This trip was a great experience for me.
