Identifying Utilities underground for the Utility companies such as Cable, Bell South, Duke Energy, and Gas

Troubleshoot, diagnose,and repair units while in the field. maintain records of service calls , training, and expenses. Provide on-call emergency service as required and maintain communication with the department manager while in the field. Making sure the safety procedures with carrying your ladder from an back to vehicle, on and off the poles or strand. knowing the procedures with running cable line into attics and crawlspaces.

Reading and understanding blueprints to starting a project.

Sourcing the materials to be used in the project,

Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.

Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.

Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
