My name is Hortencia Tejeda, a dedicated professional responsible for verifying the quality of plastic material. I am mother to Jonathan Vazquez a second grader at Balfour Elementary and a 6th grader at North Asheboro Middle School. With a deep interest in education, I aspire to become a substitute teacher while pursuing an associate's degree in teaching. My goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students. I would be so privileged to attend Balfour Elementary as a substitute since I myself assisted this elementary school. Coming from a background with so many insecurities and obstacles growing up led me to pursue a love for helping kids who need a substitute teacher that leaves a mark.
