Work History

Fuel Truck Driver

UCPS
Monroe
02.2025 - Current
  • As a fuel truck driver, my responsibilities include fueling buses, checking fluids, topping them off as needed, and checking tires. This is done to fit in with the buses schedule.
  • Other duties are mounting tires on rims, balancing tires, and installing them on the bus. This is done on school grounds, or out in the field. The truck I drive is equipped with the proper tools to handle most calls.
  • I also assist the mechanics in the shop who might need a hand. With my mechanical background, I am able to understand what needs to be accomplished.
  • To become a fuel truck driver, I finished my training as a school bus driver to get my CDL B license and S/P endorsement. Studied and tested for the tanker endorsement. Plus, I tested to remove the shift restriction off my license.

Manager

  • I was a part of Corral Motorcycles. A family business that started in 1978 as a Suzuki shop. Kawasaki and Yamaha were added a little later. Around 2011, we went independent. Most of my training was here. I began working on motorcycles at the age of 8. From there, I learned from some of the best. Some of my job duties are:
  • Parts Manager . Ordering parts for customers and for ROs. Staying on top of current trends, new products, part backorders, stock levels, and updated parts with new part numbers.
  • Service Tech. Diagnose and repair motorcycles and ATVs. Also, I would fix the shop trucks and cars. Plus, the forklift and lawn equipment.
  • Salesman: Involved with title work and sales. Was a licensed sales agent.
  • State inspector for motorcycles for 35 years.
