Provide Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to high school students with disabilities, focusing on career exploration, workplace readiness, self-advocacy, and post-secondary planning ; Develop and lead engaging lessons on job readiness, resume writing, interview skills, and vocational training opportunities; Collaborate with schools, families, students, and community partners to support students’ successful transition into employment or further education; Offer individualized guidance to help students identify career interest, set goals, and navigate workplace expectations; Guide students in exploring college, trade schools, apprenticeship, and certification program options based on their skills, interests, and career goals; Provide information on disability accommodations in higher education and how to request them.

Provide instruction aligned with North Carolina Extended Content Standards using Unique Learning System considering student IEP goals; Design and implement instruction for functional skills in the area of daily living and social emotional learning; Demonstrate leadership in the classroom by providing guidance and feedback to instructional assistants in regards to lesson planning and delivery, data collection, and behavior support; Collaborate with related service providers, regular education teachers, and other special education teachers about students' progress and needs; Communication with parents in a consistent and professional manner; Collect and analyze data to drive student instruction; Collaborate with parents and special education team members to develop IEPs for each individual student based on needs and skills; Use the ECATS system to effectively. complete all paperwork for IEP meetings; Organize and manage IEP meetings with positive interactions with all team members.

Assisted pediatric client with cerebral palsy with dressing, feeding, and hygiene tasks; Assisted with monitoring of progress towards mastery of Individualized Education Plan goals, specifically those designated to address fine and gross motor skills as well as visual impairment needs; Provided training regarding all facets of job duties to new hires.
