Evie Russell

This position was a full-time seasonal job. I mostly was an associate in the Garden Center. I love nature and plants, so I loved working there. I mainly took care of the flowers inside and outside, and occasionally went inside. I was mostly outside. I helped customers with daily questions about how to care for plants, what to use in your yard, and even about being a landscaper. I loved helping customers find a plant for their yard, so then they can showcase their home and become more welcoming.

My role at Kohl's first started as a cashier, where I would promote their credit cards and check people out. I was soon transferred to their retail section, where I took care of the floor, meaning the whole store. Once I got the hang of the system of the floor, and knowing where everything was, I became part of the online orders associate. I was quick, efficient, and packed orders every day. During the holidays, I was then promoted as a lead for online orders. I stayed from morning to night, getting over 2,000 orders to complete. I have also done truck days, where I had to wake up at 4 a.m. to manage inventory and new merchandising. So, I would like to say I did everything there and am a very versatile person.

I have experience working as a cashier, in food preparation, in the front lobby, and at the drive-thru. An area I excel in is customer service, assisting customers with their orders, handling complaints, and working well with other crew members. I am readily available to fill in when called upon.
